I'm very happy with this painting. It is a bit of a departure from my usual use of ink and acrylic but I think it is always good to try new things.
Today I finished a painting that I'm calling "Thaw". This painting was done on a black canvas that I then covered with Prussian Blue (one of my favourite blues). I've spent the last week in Sun Peaks watching the snow melt and run in little streams down the road. The grass is starting to show through on the edges of the snow and I though I could hurry the melt along in a painting.
