I noticed that these artists had frames around all of their paintings. Some of them had little notes beside each painting describing the inspiration for each painting. Their displays looked very professional. This was not something I had considered at all. I started to feel nervous about my show not being professional enough..... but....
then I decided that again, this will be a learning experience for me, and that it is going to be just fine. I think that choosing to learn from experiences is the best way to handle things. In a way... it encourages to you to accept yourself, and I believe that accepting yourself is a very good thing.
Aside from the excitement of the show.... I have finished the week of watercolour and ink. I enjoyed it so much that I am going to do another week of it. I also sold one of my watercolour paintings to a lovely woman from Courtenay, BC. She is buying the Sunflowers. I will attach a picture of it below. I am glad it is going to a good home where it will be making someone happy.
